What is a “weekend banger?” …..not really sure if that’s actually a term, but if it were, I’d say it’s something you can shake your head to while waving a middle finger at the work week. A little bit hard, but definitely something you can dance right into the weekend to. It’s all about building up the beginning and releasing into a barrage of sound. Let go of the work week, but your dancing shoes on and get loose!
Here are a few bumpin’ tracks to get your weekend banging.

Breakage – Fighting Fire (Foamo remix)
Breakage has been getting some heavy rotation on BBC Radio as of late. Foamo does a great job of making this into a weekend kickoff track by bringing taking the lows out in the beginning and then dropping some dirty bass in to get you jumping. I love those kind of tracks on a friday. They are all like bing bing bing and gentle in the beginning, there is some hot chick voice (in this case Jess Mills), singing in the background and then the bass drops and your like, “oh shit, let the weekend begin.”

2 Guys In Venice – Midnight Run
Just bought the Midnight Run EP at the beginning of February and I can’t get enough play out of this album. It ranges from bouncy upbeat tracks, to a track like this that is straight up electronic driving music. Like, good to drive your car to. It’s great to get your Friday pumping as well. Def. on the look out for what these guys are putting out next.

Butch – Amelie
This is a bit of an older track, but I love me some minimal techno. can’t go wrong with this track.
