CHEATERS are a five-piece electronic band with members hailing from London and Amsterdam. They combine the live band sound with synths, samplers and sequencers to create something unique in the electronic seen. Only few other groups are doing it successfully in this day of one man band producers who conceive and perform all of their music on a laptop. Not saying that this is the wrong way to go, not at all. But it does give CHEATERS a unique sound for sure.
“Bad Thoughts” is the first single off CHEATERS debut album to be released late next year. The Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam approached the group CHEATERS to write a song inspired by Gilbert & George’s ‘Bad Thoughts‘.. The band teamed up with friend and fashion designer Alexandra Frida and director Max Westendorp to accompany the track with a dark, dynamic and minimalist video.
