She & Him released their second album, Volume II this year, and the first single off the album is “In The Sun.” Although I love to see Zooey Deschanel prancing around in a school dress, I’m not sure how I feel about the video which seems to be a dark version of an early Britney Spears video (complete with gay back-up dancers and choreographed school hallway dancing). The song also sounds a little more ‘pop’ then what I’m used to from them. BUT, I’m not complaining. My creepy secret love lives on for Zooey.
