If there was ever a band deserving of this award, it’s Swim Party. Everything I’ve heard from them is solid and super consistent. From their album art to their song writing, and from their production value to their live sets, you can tell that Swim Party carefully crafts every last detail of their art. Filter Magazine named Swim Party their “Undiscovered Band of the Month” saying that “Angular rhythms and spacey guitars punctuate music that plays between catch and release. Their debut full-length, Pixie Dust on the Blood Range, goes well with Modest Mouse and Broken Social Scene . . .”
