Bass Music

There’s nothing like some good Ol’ Bass Music when you are outside BBQ’ing and eatin and drinking light beer in Williamsburg Brooklyn. So here’s a small compilation of some artist you may or may not know that are putting out “badunk-a-dunk” bass driven tracks. (Scroll to the bottom for a mini-mix of all the tracks)

Ludacris – Jingalin

“Jingalin” is the first single off of Luda’s upcoming album Ludaversal (out May 29th). If any of these track is going to make you clap at it, it’s this one. It’s… well it’s straight up Jingalin.

Sleigh Bells – Demons (Diplo Remix)

Holy SHIT! this track fucking kills it. Sleigh Bells and Diplo?! WHAT!??! YES! get the fuck down and start shaking your ass to this one.

A$AP Rocky – Get Lit

A$AP Rocky (not Aesop Rock) is one of my new favorite artists. His mixtape “LongLiveA$AP” is one of my favorite albums of 2012 so far. Rumor is that his debut studio album is set to drop late July. “Get Lit” slows the bass down just enough to take you into another world low-end sound. It’s like a washed-out, electronic, trip-hop, R&B hip-hop infusion of smoothness. Get Lit bitch!

Schlachthofbronx – Slowine

Schlachthofbronx definitely knows their bass, and “Slowine” has gratuitous amounts of it. It’s hard not to step a little bit larger when you here this track.

French Fries – Yo Vogue (Leroy Peppers Remix)

This track doesn’t give a FUCK about you (bitch!) haha. The bass is sucha brooding head banger. Only French Fries can take a beat like this and put a gentle melody over it to create a dope track.
