Chilled-out melodic house from two Irish brothers
With the summer past its peak and the days getting shorter, I find it’s the perfect time to fold in a bit of melodic house to the mix. That’s where the two Irish brothers behind Dead On come into play. Tony (age 40) and Chris nike air jordan 1 high og sp union bbs fd2565 100 (age 30) began their musical journey in their homeland of Ireland before moving to the United States in the early 2000s. First to Detroit and then to Nashville; two cities that gave birth to musical movements in very different directions with techno rising out of Detroit and country music originating in Nashville.

With that education of the musical spectrum plugged in, the two brothers then set out to focus on the resurgence of 90s synth and minimal deep tech — taking influence from the sort of music coming out of labels like PIV, Limo Dream, Subwaxx, and Magic Carpet. The vision for the duo is to create chilled-out, minimal house and encourage listeners to let go. It’s all about enjoying the movement.
