Dance Calypso!
Was just turned on to this Calypso compilation by my buddy Darius in New York. He’s from New Orleans. He’s got Spanish and Persian ancestry and he has got far better taste in music than I do (probably because he’s such a soulful mix of a mutt). In any case, every once in a while he’ll send me an album like this one that will just absolutely blow my mind. It doesn’t matter what genre, or decade… he always nails it. And this Calypso compilation is absolutely nailing it for me. I hope it is for you too. hashtag “summer vibes”
