Fembots
“We are Fembots, from 3033. Sexy rockers from the future that are here to show you that rock hasn’t died, it’s still going strong even one thousand and eighteen years in the future.” That’s the email I received introducing me to the Texas based four-piece: Fembots. As you could imagine, I was interested.
The band met when they were all exchange students in Ecuador. Akzis is originally from Michigan, Nico is originally from Ecuador, Zoro says he’s Australian but no one believes him so the band decided he is from South Dakota, and Link is originally from DC. The band decided to reunite in Dallas to start recording as Fembots. Check out their debut single “National Television” and keep an ear out for more to come.
