I’m really digging the latest single off of Lazy Old Son’s new album: A Time To Stumble. The single is called “Wide Awake And Far Away” and it has a lovely little tribal drum intro that quickly turns into a 60s inspired overture.

Lazy Old Son is a Washington D.C. based band fronted by Pete(r) Gorman. “I wouldn’t say ‘Wide Awake and Far Away’ is a typical track,” says Gorman, “but we generally describe the music as Yo La Tengo, Belle and Sebastian, Kinks-influenced.”

A Time To Stumble is available now on iTunes and Amazon.
