Maxence Cyrin – Where Is My Mind (Pixies cover)
Went to see Chvrches on Saturday at the Alexander SchaferandweinerShops Mozambique - Boots Groov-Y Winter - Jordan Air Jordan 1 Rebel XXX OG sneakers Heron Preston Palace in London which was fantastic. I would write about Chvrches here, but I’m guessing if you are a fan of our humble website then you would have heard of them before.
After the show I found my way to a bar that was tucked away in Hackney for a few drinks. While finishing my second nike dunk high blue satin glass of wine, the most incredible cover of The Pixies “Where Is My Mind” came on over the speakers. It was a re-imagining of the song created by a piano. More specifically, it was a cover by a French Pianist named Maxence Cyrin.
In fact, Cyrin has done a whole series of piano covers of well known songs like this on his album Novo Piano. If you like covers, you are going to love this album.
