June 2015 Podcast
The New LoFi podcast sums up all the music posted to the blog each month. This month we have another fantastic mix for you. James Canty kicks the mix off with his slightly quirky single: “Love.” The track sneaks up on you with a crescendo of sound and sets you up for the rest of the mix. Kishi Bashi is another fantastic artist featured this month and we highly recommend that you check out his latest album entitled Lighght.
Two old favorites, Trails and Ways and Little Racer, also sent us their new singles last month and Made In Heights serenades us with their latest single. The mix rounds out with some pretty epic remixes from Dim Sum (remixing Odesza), Autograf (remixing Fatboy Slim) and FKJ (remixing Lianne La Havas). And we got a new Flume track last month! How could I forget? Flume teams up with Miike Snow’s Andrew Wyatt to give us “Some Minds.” It still gives me chills listening to it. That voice!
And finally, we bring you down easy with Amarachi’s latest single “1993.” It premiered early last month and is the perfect way to wrap up our podcast. GET INVOLVED!
