New favourite song. Partly because I love the dancing on the video; mostly because I love the sound.
Contemporary weirdos Conan Mockasin and Sam Dust have joined up to form a collaborative duo called Soft Hair and the best way to describe it is: rad.
(and a bit weird too I suppose, but in the coolest sense of the word)
Their debut album is due out on the 28th of October and to promote it they’ve released their first single called “Lying Has To Stop.”
It’s sexy, it’s smooth, it’s bromantic. The video features Mockasin and Dust doing awkward (read: awesome) dance moves in a foil covered room with lights flashing. It’s like a semi-pornographic psychedelic trip but with all the drugs turned way down. It’s weird… but in a way that makes you like it.
