Sons of Sevilla return with an easy-going new single for summer: ‘Drive By Honey’

It’s fitting that I first came across Sons of Sevilla at the height of last summer with their album Street Light Moon. Because summer is where this duo lives. Their albums are a soundtrack for a sort of endless summer.

That’s true about their upcoming album, It Could Be Today (set to release later this year in October). The new album was teased earlier this month with a blissful new single entitled ‘Drive By Honey.’ The West Yorkshire sibling duo, Reuben Vaun Smith and Henry Smith, lean further into their hazy blend of psychedelic soul, dream-pop and vintage West Coast textures with this new single. It’s a track that feels warm, easy-going, and transportive. The perfect laid-back summer tune for a hazy hot days.
