Canadian Wolf Invasion

Love them or hate them, Canadian band Wolf Parade isn’t going away. After a year “break”, the band bangs out a new album from start to finish in a few short months. The result?  “Expo 86”, their third LP on Sub Pop Records. Although they keep trying, Wolf Parade has yet to parallel their critically acclaimed  Apologies to the Queen Mary. That said, there are some worthy tracks on this album. My favorite so far is “ghost pressure”. It starts out a little slow but about a minute into it, some great synth parts comes in that just “shake me up, shake me up”. Check it out . . .

Also worth mentioning is the Montreal based band We Are Wolves. We saw them sometime back in the winter and they blew us away. Their latest album is called Invisible Violence . . .
