Laurence Guy teams up with Jean Carter in LA for laid-back summer sound
You ready for some feel-good summer vibes? British DJ and producer Laurence Guy has got what you need on his new single, “Don’t Wanna Wait.”
Laurence recorded the track while he was touring the US. During the tour, he set up base in LA with his brother Henry Guy and recorded a few new tracks at the Future Classics HQ.
During that time, he linked up with LA-based artist, Jean Carter, to lay down vocals for “Don’t Wanna Wait” and “Not Checkers.” Drawing inspiration from iconic French touch, “Don’t Wanna Wait” blends laid-back drum grooves, warm analog textures, and soulful vocals into an effortlessly feel-good groove.
