Allo Darlin’ Covering Ramones
I wanted to take two minutes to personally welcome and introduce Chris B, our new writer / contributor / partner in musical mayhem. Not only am I excited because Chris is awesome and has a vast musical knowledge but also because he is our first contributor that isn’t based in the New York City area. Residing in London, Chris B will bring his own personal vibe to our current offerings and a brand new crispy freshness to this crazy ass yellow blog that we call home.
On another UK relatedly note, I love lo-fi shit. I love the Ramones. I love covers. I love ukuleles. This track has it all. Allo Darlin’ is a London based foursome on Fortuna Pop! . . . . Although they’re pretty cutesy, I think these guys and gal should totally be on your radar. In a personal non perverted fantasy, I’d love to see them play with Lord Huron.
PS. Going to see The Radical Dads with Arms tonight at Pianos. Hope to see some of you there.
