Cee Lo has been a Busy Dude
First off, this guy has a sick voice. and he has a crazy work ethic. From Goodie Mob, to Gnarles Barkley, he adds a distinct style to everything he does. And he keeps on surpassing expectations. With this new video, “Fuck You” he puts a fresh spin on the otherwise over-played trendy graphic treatment of kinetic type. And then I heard him on BBC one last week chatting with Annie Mac, and he put together one of the tightest mini-mixes I have heard in a while. Andd on top of that, he recently put out this genre bending cover of “No Ones Gonna Love you” by Band of Horses. Normally I’m not into covers, but Cee Lo really made this his own.
