There was so many good acts; Steve Bug, James Holden, James Murphy honor the gift x jordan why not 6 inner city & Pat Mahoney (they spun a disco set!!). Richie Hawtin definitely left the most lasting impression for the 2009 festival though.

This year it was a completely different story. There was just one stage, one group, one show to see: Chemical Brothers. They absolutely brought down the house (or festival tent I suppose). Don’t get me wrong, there were a lot of other amazing acts there no doubt, and Randall’s Island was ten times more packed than last year, which is a testament to how successful this festival has become, but as far as I’m concerned, my $100+ was well spent on the first day after seeing the Chemical Brothers.
