Colonel Red and Inkswel continue their collaboration with new EP: “Joy”
On their latest collaborative record, Colonel Red & Inkswel explore themes of freedom, liberation, emancipation, and reinvention with music that is soulful and immediate. The layered and rhythmic backbone of the production, coupled with the poetic songwriting all speak to the idea that there is joy in freeing oneself from mental and economic slavery. And that joy is a necessary mindset pertaining to being on the right side of history and this side of humanity. With that as the backdrop, the two producers named their new album “Joy” (out now on Liquid Beat Records).
To celebrate the album Colonel Red & Inkswel have also teamed up with Roane Namuh and HOT16 to do a couple of alternative remixes of the album. Check that out on Liquid Beat’s Soundcloud page.
