Fresh Friday Mix – DMNSLYR
Time to kick off the weekend with a mix. This time from west coast producer, Dan Nguyen, aka DMN SLYR, aka Demon Slayer. Entitled “88:88,” this mix was inspired by Nguyen’s travels around Asia for the last year. There are a lot of dubstep influences across the mix which contains some of Nguyen’s original tracks plus other remixes, reworks, re-edits, and mash-ups, but as you listen you can hear elements of hip-hop, jazz, soul and trip-hop shine through. It’s eclectic to say the least.
