Fresh Friday Mix: Les Frères Jackfruit
Borizio de la Vega and Valentino de la Sierra are Les Frères Jackfruit (aka The Jackfruit Brothers). The two Frenchmen have made a name for themselves as the World Music maestros. They regularly mash together music from Africa to South America and are able to make it feel like one big happy family. For their latest mix, “PULSATIONS TROPICALES #8” they successfully combine Baile Funk, Arabic, Cumbia, Disco, Samba, Reggae and Afro-House without missing a beat (so to speak). I’m probably not even covering all of the genre blending they are doing, but what I can be sure of is that this mix will rock any party.
