Pretty Lights Billboard Hardwell Bloc Party
It’s been a minute since I’ve had Bloc Party in rotation. This morning we got a remix of Martin Solveig’s new single Ready 2 Go from producer Billboard featuring Kele from Bloc Party. Billboard is a Producer/Songwriter from Montréal, Canada. So far in his short career he’s written and produced songs for KE$HA, Robyn and Britney. Also included below is the Hardwell remix of the same track.
In other electronic news, The Governors Ball Music Festival is this weekend on Governors Island. The Festival features Girl Talk, Empire of the Sun, Neon Indian and a hand full of others. Pretty Lights is headlining over Girl Talk making it obvious that his mix of electronic, hip hop, funk, jazz and rock transitioned from its underground roots to the main stage in a big way. Pretty Lights is releasing a remix collection later this year with the track “Pretty Lights vs. Radiohead vs. Nirvana vs. NIN” leading the way. Check that track out below as well.
