September’s Heavy Rotation

Well, it has almost been a week since the last post, so I thought it was about time I posted something new. I’ve been pulling a couple of late nights at work the past few weeks and so I’ve been listening to a lot of heavy beats (seems to be the trend this month). This is a sample of what has been on heavy rotation lately.

This is a pretty chill track with a driving up-beat tempo. Good to push you through to just one more hour of work. A nice rework of a good Delorean song

Solid house track that will get you moving in your seat. Upbeat piano melodies over long waves of tone. approved!

This is a bit more experimental and electronic. It’s a nice clean dirty bass with alarming siren cuts. this is definitely a good after midnight wake up call.

I know this is a pretty old track but it is so fucking sick. And I’ve been playing it pretty regularly. Trentmøller is one of the most talented artists I have ever heard when it comes to electronic music. Everything is so minimal and tight with him. And the combination of his genius coupled with Karin Dreijer Andersson voice (The Knife, Fever Ray), is just mind blowing in my opinion. This track builds up and builds up and builds. It just doesn’t stop giving you chills. I love it!
