James Blake: Timeless
James Blake has graced us with another single off his upcoming album ‘Radio Silence’ this evening. ‘Timeless’ is your usual Blake fare; vocal loops, gritty drum kits, and Blake’s signature lofi Prophet ’08 filling out the lows. I think it does poor justice to Blake’s sound to hear snippets of Radio Silence, his albums are best listened to as a singular cohesive unit. But ‘Timeless’ offers more hints of what will surely be one of the most eclectic chart-toppers this year. Radio Silence will be Blake’s most ambitious album yet, with 18 tracks (one of which well over 20 minutes long) one has to wonder nike air jordan 1 high og sp union bbs fd2565 100 if Blake will be pressing them as a quadruple vinyl.
