Heavy Rotation: from tech house to ambient electronic
Here’s another round-up of our favorite electronic music sent to the blog recently. This is all the music that has been on heavy rotation here at TNLF HQ.
Gkat – Over Seas
Let’s kick things off with a bit of west coast beat. LA-based producer Gkat lays down a dirty little bassline with his new single, “Over Seas.”
San Pacho x SEBS – Impressive
Building the dance floor mood, Croation producer San Pacho teams up with SEBS to create a bouncy acid bassline on their new single: “Impressive.”
Amedeo Picone – Get Naughty
Amedeo Picone, takes us a level deeper with some tightly produced tech house with a minimal deep house melodic twist. Hailing from Naples, Itally, Amedeo discovered his passion for music at an early age experimenting with his father’s turntables (who was himself a DJ in the ’90s). With his new single, “Get Naughty,” he shows off his versatility with a seamless cross of House, Techno, Tech House, and Minimal electronic.
Andrew Meller – Highwave
“I am guided by a feeling of purpose to leave a legacy on this planet and to contribute to shaping the electronic music world. My mission is to turn someone’s bad day into a good one and to share the emotions with the Universe and people through my music”, says Meller when talking about his music. Not a bad mission to have in life.
Candidate x Saigon (UK) – Midnight Dream
Liverpool-born producer, Candidate has quickly carved out a name for himself with his signature hip-house-infused sound. Over the past 18 months, his standout releases on Hottrax, NeXup, Three Six Zero, and Belief have cemented his place in the underground scene. Here he teams up with Saigon (UK) to create a big dance floor sound with a catchy melodic hook.
ZSHELL – lost and found
Next up is is a track I find so captvating and different. The producer is called ZSHELL and she’s an NYC artist that crafts high-energy EDM that is inspired by hardstyle, trap, trance, and frenchcore (already interesting, right?). Her inspiration is equally as interesting and varied — drawing from places like the the Brooklyn warehouse scene to Berlin clubs. Her glitchy, bass-heavy tracks fuse Big Apple grit with futuristic soundscapes to create something truly unique. Check out her new single “lost and found” and be prepared to be transported to a world of underground dance parties.
Louie El Ser – Amor.illo
Next up is the new track from San Francsico-based, Mexican-Salvadorian multi-instrumentalist: Louie El Ser. The title of his new single “Amor.illo” blends amor (love) and amarillo (yellow) — a term Louie coined to describe a love that burns bright and feels everything deeply. Featuring Tommie Phoenix, the track pairs glossy lead vocals with Louie’s haunting harmonies, minimal drums, and glowing textures for a slow-burning, intimate listen.
Lunaz Chill – Every Moment With You
Lunaz Chill’s new single, “Every Moment With You” is an upbeat, chill-tronic track with intimate female vocals, warm acoustic guitar, and smooth electronic drums. It’s equal parts hopeful and atmospheric.
Akage Design Co – Two Moons
To wind things down a bit, we have some lovely ambient electronic from enigmatic electronic producer, Akage Design Co. Their music rooted in IDM, mixing shifting rhythms with nostalgic synths and spacious atmosphere. I think if you are a fan of bands like Boards of Canada, Tycho, or Com Truise, you will really like “Two Moons” by Akage Design Co.
Strange Fruit – Monopolar
The second single out of the upcoming Drips mini album from Strange Fruit. Kosmische blends with Shoegaze aesthetics with a slow tempo Acid House groove.
Strange Fruit is a Jakarta-based band formed in 2012. The band consists of Baldi Calvianca (vocals), Irza Aryadiaz (synthesizers), John Tampubolon (guitar), Nabil Favian (bass), and Dino Kristianto (drums). Their music blends shoegaze textures with slow-tempo electronica. It drifts through dreamy soundscapes, haunting melodies, and steady dance rhythms—creating a sonic universe that feels both nostalgic and new.
