ALASKALASKA are an art-pop 6-piece from South East London. Band leader and principle vocalist Lucinda twists brooding and introspective lyrics into infectious melodies reminiscent of Warpaint, Dirty Projectors or Talk Talk. They’ve built a cult following and reputation as extraordinary performers through a handful of low-key London shows.
We’re including the first two singles from the band below. ‘Bitter Winter’ is the lead track from their debut EP, and ‘Familiar Ways’, are the perfect introduction to their brand of off-kilter pop.
