Mount Kimbie – You Took Your Time (feat. King Krule)
One of the most supremely laid back rock songs I’ve heard this year, it was hard not to feature Mount Kimbie’s latest single featuring King Krule all on its own. Appearing on Mount Kimbie’s new album entitled “Cold Spring Fault Less Youth,” this single is a fantastic musical pairing. With Mount Kimbie’s typically positive sound balanced out by King Krule’s positively bleak outlook, it creates for an incredible track. We first saw Mount Kimbie come on to the scene almost three years ago to release his album “Carbonated” and King Krule first turned up on TNLF for our Weekend Fuzz post.
