David Lowery – The Palace Guards

Here’s a taste of David Lowery’s debut solo album, The Palace Guards. It’s twangy, it’s laid back, upbeat, and it has a sense of humor all the way through. Despite the grey days of snow and chill here in New York, this album transports me to an easy going summer day in the wilderness. Check out some videos and pick up the album at 429 Records tomorrow.

and check out Lowery’s blog, 300 Songs, where he chronicles all of the songs he’s written and recorded with both Cracker & Camper Van Beethoven.
