Gotye – Eyes Wide Open (Yeasayer remix)
It seems like EVERYONE is remixing Gotye these days. At Lollapalooza I heard three different artists spin some part of “Somebody That I Used To Know” into their set. And now the dudes from Yeasayer get into the mix (so to speak). Yesterday Rolling Stone released the Yeasayer remix of “Eyes Wide Open” which is the first single off of Gotye’s upcoming remix EP. And dare I say that it’s an improvement on the original with its slower tempo and an easy going wave of sound that complements Wouter De Backer’s high pitched voice perfectly.
