Slow down the tempo and add some jazz with Maytra’s new 5-track house EP

French producer, Maytra, brings some of that laid back soul to house music. His new 5-track EP, Agitation, has many layers to it with some club-oriented tunes paired with more relaxing tracks that are led by lush synths and soulful grooves.

Born in a little village in the East part of France called Yutz, Maytra quickly relocated to Paris when his hometown was getting to narrow. He later moved to Colombia where the mountainous scenery evoked nostalgic memories in him. These feelings started to feed the music he was producing. When he returned to Paris in 2019 he started laying down the tracks that would become the EP. Most of the album was indeed produced during lockdown which probably adds some focus to the record.
