UK-raised Polish producer, ATRIP, is bringing a fresh new electronic perspective
We first came across the Poland-born, London-based electronic producer, Patrick Pache (aka ATRIP) earlier this year when he sent us his single, “Fussy.” The track featured on our April Mixtape and from then on, the name “ATRIP” was firmly on our radar. We had our eyes and ears open for what this up-and-coming talent was going to do next.
He didn’t disappoint. In June, ATRIP sold-out his Night Tales debut where he was joined by Anish Kumar and Mona Yim. We then featured ATRIP again on our July Mixtape with his single “Rainbow” that sounds like an avalanche of melody and beats.
This month we were passed two new singles to add to ATRIP’s growing catalogue: “Junction 3” and “Cortez.” “Junction 3” perfectly encapsulates the ATRIP aesthetic — simultaneously joyous, heartfelt, and bursting with energy. Its interwoven mesh of pulsing synths morph throughout the song’s runtime, with the track’s shuffling percussion creating an irresistibly danceable groove. The song’s final build-up transcends into a spaced-out, reverb drenched passage before crescendoing into a final pounding flourish.
Have a listen to “Junction 3” and “Cortez” below and keep and eye out for ATRIP’s tour dates through the rest of this summer. He will be making an appearance at La Mazette in Paris this month and in September he can be caught back in the UK at Into The Woods Festival in Chepstow as well as Fabric in London.
