Chill Out Sunday

With the summer season winding down, it’s time for some songs to wind down with. Here’s a few tracks to chill out with.

Suburban Dream – New Years Day

Suburban Dream is produced by Ciaran McCarthy in Dublin. You can find a couple of his EP’s on the Suburban Dream SoundCloud page as well as a few of his radio shows. If you want to get your “relax” on, this is the guy you want to listen to. “New Years Day” is one of my favorite tracks off of the “Just More Into Being Here” release.

Rotrum – Truth

Found a bunch of spaced out tracks on the Rotrum Soundcloud page, my favorite of which is this track “Truth.”

Birdy – People Help The People (TIP’s Sunken Hearts Rework)

Two Inch Punch (TIP) has joined the ranks of sample-heavy chillwave synth artists like James Blake, Jamie XX, and Gold Panda. This is TIP’s first remix / rework… Birdy’s “People Help The People” and it fits perfectly into a chilled-out Sunday mix.

Kreayshawn vs Jay-Z (DOSVEC Mashup) – Heart Of The Gucci

DOSVEC does it again. He is becoming the king of Mashup. This time DJ Whatt (AKA DOSVEC) gives us a twist on one of the most remixed songs of this summer; Kreayshawn’s “Gucci Gucci.” It’s one of the most original takes on the song that I’ve heard. He took this wannabe hipster-gangstar anthem by Kreayshawn and turned it into a soulful masterpiece.
