Colossal Gospel Cover Pat Benatar

Colossal Gospel is a lo-fi, indie, gospel/folk rock band that I’ve been listening to for the last few months. I’ve been trying to coordinate an interview with the band so we could discuss their beautiful, delicate and very personal concept album Circles for a least a month now. Unfortunely I’ve been traveling a lot lately and it’s been hard to sync up. Yesterday, Colossal Gospel released an unlikely cover/medley of Pat Benatar tunes that they recorded while “testing out” their new piano. Hearing this track reminded me that I still need to get that interview out to you guys soon. Until then, check out these two tracks from Circles with the extra special bonus of “Shadows of a Battlefield”. You can check out more Colossal Gospel on bandcamp, soundcloud and facebook.
