Familiars

The Antlers latest album has got me swooning. Who knew that the sound of a trumpet could be so soothing? It seems that these guys have made a point of changing their sound, and thank sweet baby jesus for that. This album is full and robust and each song may leave you questioning the deeper meaning of life. If you ask me, the real genius of “Familiars” lies in the finely tuned combination of hope and tragedy.
