Iris Gold – Revolution Riders
“Revolution Riders” is the latest track off of Iris Gold’s upcoming album, The Marsha Hunt Mixtape. The mixtape is a 70’s homage featuring nine original songs inspired by the life and imagery of American actress Marsha Hunt.
Gold borrows from early blues, Blaxploitation movies, Outkast, J Dilla and Dolly Parton. She taps into a mythical fantasy world saying “I imagined I was in a movie based in 70s Harlem during the hot summer nike air huarache drift black ah7335 001 chillin’ with with Lalo Schifrin.”
