English singer/songwriter James Canty has released his new EP called the Love EP and it has quickly gone into heavy rotation for this year. The 5 track album has an eclectic range of sound from psych rock melodies and delicate acoustic guitar rifts on “Burning Alive” and “Putney Bridge” to waves of Space Odyssey style organs on “Deborah” and “Love.” The EP is very cinematic sounding. It’s a rich mixture of story telling and sound production that makes for one of the more interesting albums of 2015.
