Some nostalgic synth pop that’s full of sunshine from Real Pleasure

Nostalgic 80s vibes, LA sunshine, piano house, and synth pop? That’s what you are in for with Kevin Claxton’s new project: Real Pleasure.

Claxton has just released the first single off of his upcoming EP, Zones. The single is called “Neo (Edit)” and it draws influence from LA’s pulsing warehouse parties, all filtered through an unashamedly nostalgic Real Pleasure lens. The track offers chugging basslines, synth hooks, and classic drum machines, channeling the Claxton’s love of italo disco, new wave, and 80’s synth pop, wrapped in a thumping hardware house package and ready for the dance floor.

Have fun with it.
