Theophilus London on Jimmey Kimmel
I first saw Theophilus London at Hard NYC last year and I’ve been meaning to post something on him every since. Any time I sat down to write something, I couldn’t put the words together to properly do him the justice he deserves. That said, I’m not going to try to do it now BUT you should definately check out his new album “Timez Are Weird These Days” on iTunes. Here’s a recent video from Jimmey Kimmel that captures a tiny piece of Theophilus’ unique blend of hip hop, rock, pop, funk, etc, etc, etc that sets him apart from just about every other “pop” star out there. He’s been buzzing huge on the indie circuit with his “crossover” sound but I have a feeling he’s about to explode in the mainstream with this new album.
