Norway’s Casiokids U.S. Dates
Casiokids is a quirky Norwegian electro-pop band signed to Moshi Moshi Records (The Rakes, Bloc Party, Hot Chip, Hot Club De Paris, Kate Nash, Junkboy, Architecture in Helsinki, Tilly and the Wall, Slow Club, Yeti, Au Revoir Simone).
One thing that I love about these guys is that they make really lofi videos that are both whacky and super fun. The video for “Fot I Hose” (above) has received close to 500,000 views on youtube after the song was featured on FIFA 10 (Electronic Arts’ latest soccer/football video game). Naturally enough, I heard they bring the same creativity and spirit to their live shows.
