Weezer’s Upcoming Album; Hurley
Weezer hasn’t been on my radar for quite some time, but this song caught my attention. There isn’t that typical sing/hum-along Weezer hook, but there is a certain nostalgia that is hard to hate in the lyrics. AND! they decided to make the album a sort of ode to LOST by naming the album Hurley. Well actually, they didn’t actually name the album, but I think by covering the album with Hurley’s smiling mug, the title is implied. And I think that is totally awesome. This single was leaked shortly after the band left Interscope to join Epitaph. The new album is set to launch mid September.
