Chance the Rapper can do no wrong. Days after releasing his highly anticipated freestyle album with the Based God himself, Chance dropped another new track just yesterday. I grew up with lo-fi hip-hop; clever lyricism interwoven with minimal drum beats. The kind of music you walk home to. “Israel (Sparring)” is the most Digable Planets track since.. well, Digable Planets. Chicago based MC Noname Gypsy, channeling the effortless flow of Ladybug Mecca herself, casually plays tag with Chance before breaking down in a fit of laughter. It’s low-key fun, and another stamp on Chance’s pristine passport.
