Fuzzworthy: Last Lynx
As a snobby well-dressed hipster nerd, I very rarely say this… but.. Last Lynx needs to be on the radio. There’s been a steady trickle of indie tunes into the reservoir of mainstream music, and the crack in the dam should let these guys flow. Their sound is universally brilliant, and the shockingly Swedish quintuple hit all the right notes. In the age of laptop-pop and solo acts drawing heavy influence from 60’s and 70’s alternative, Last Lynx are a breath of fresh air that every needs to inhale. Check out their two singles, “Killing Switch” and “Lacuna” (Lacuna being the more radio-ready of the two), and once again keep your banana ears peeled to the ground for a full length release in the future.
