The New LoFi

Ten Years

Melanie Martinez x Neo Noir

LA-based producers Bradley Allan and Greg Ogan have teamed up to become the future bass / trap duo called Neo Noir. In the past they’ve produced music for all sorts of pop artists including Sean Kingston, Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson, Bruno Mars, Britney Spears, and Justin Bieber. This year they decided to take a break from making music for other artists in order to start making music for themselves. The plan was to collaborate with talented singers that share their vision so that they could create music with their own filter and perspective.

They are currently working on their debut original single, but in order to launch their project, Neo Noir have remixed a sweet little future bass version of Melanie Martinez’s track “Soap” in order to demonstrate what kind of music they will be producing.

“After hearing Melanie Martinez’s song ‘Soap’ for the first time, we knew instantly that there was something there we connected to,” says the duo. “Melanie’s vocals summon so much emotion which worked well for our style aesthetic as producers.”

Look out for Neo Noir’s debut single this summer on Trap Nation’s label Lowly Palace.
