Priyya – Golden Child
Just came across this wavvy track from Nepalese born singer / songwriter, Priyya. Now she’s currently living in New York / New Jersey where she’s setting out to explore her bi-cultural identity through music.
“Golden Child” (her only released track online) is an expression of her Nepalese American experience and her love for Eddie Murphy. If that doesn’t have your ears perked, then I will say that it’s definitely not something you would have heard of before (*in a good way). My only wish is that it was longer. It feels like she could explore the track for 10 minutes, but it ends in just over two. I’m really looking forward to where Priyya takes this sound.
