Red Axes get LOUD with their new studio album due out November 21st
Known for their shape-shifting sound that bounces between post-punk grit and electronic euphoria, Red Axes are back to announce their fifth studio album: LOUD. To tease the new album, the duo have dropped a shimmering new single entitled “Girl.”
If you’ve followed Niv Arzi and Dori Sadovnik over the past decade, you know Red Axes don’t stay in one place for long. From the psychedelic rock roots of their early days as Red Cotton to late-night burners for labels like Phantasy and Crosstown Rebels, the pair have built an entire universe where guitars, synths, and sweat-drenched grooves collide.
“Girl” opens a new chapter for them both. Drawing from The Velvet Underground, The Doors, and The War on Drugs, this new single is an indie-leaning psych rock detour that feels intimate yet explosive. It’s all fuzzy guitars, yearning vocals, and that unmistakable Red Axes pulse. “It’s not about clarity,” Niv shares, “it’s about pressure… the city, the silence, the smell of something familiar.”
