The Naked and Famous
The Naked and Famous single “Young Blood” has been all over the place the last few months. Young Blood débuted this May on the New Zealand Singles Chart at number one, leading to a Silver Scroll award for Song of the Year. Yes, Young Blood is a good track; great even. I can’t argue that. That said, I find the song a little overly familiar (think MGMT, Passion Pit, Temper Trap) but that aside, the rest of their album is great too. Which is why these guys (and gal) are worth posting about. These kiwi’s craft powerful synth pop anthems that are hard to forget and even harder not to like.
