A Japanese brand cell phone, named Docomo, is releasing a wooden-incased phone called the “Touch Wood SH-08C” that will be made from sustainable wood harvested from one of Japan’s man-made forests, and some of the proceeds will be used to maintain the trees within.
It actually has a pretty rad interface too. There are some demos on Vimeo where you can see it in action.
