Frankie Alpha’s new single Pisco Biscuit lays down a funky electronic groove
“This one started out from a place of pure simplicity,” says UK-based producer, Frankie Alpha when talking about his new single: “Pisco Biscuit.” The track uses elements of techno and house with some catchy dancefloor-ready rhythms. It’s all in the detail — from the hand snaps to the carefully programmed sub bass — “Pisco Biscuit” delivers on being both warm and funky electronic at the same time.
“There’s elements of funk and soul here, as well as hip-hop in the rhythm section,” continues Frankie Alpha. “Interlaced throughout are my notes on a general feel I’ve had many times dancing to messy / happy disco re-edits on a Sunday, at a festival as the light fades.”
