Bruce Springsteen Reborn???

Ok, well that is a bit of a lie isn’t it? The Boss isn’t even dead.
I couldn’t help thinking that I was hearing an undiscovered Bruce Springsteen track the first time I heard the Brooklyn-based indie folk artist Matthew Houck.
Originally from Alabama, Houck goes by the name “Phosphorescent” on stage and he has a terrific catalog of music already (how did this guys music slip past the radar?!?). As I went through the Phosphorescent discography it was just one great song after another. “Wolves,” “The Mermaid Parade,” “It’s Hard To Be Humble (When You’re From best nike running shoes Alabama)”
Then I realized that Phosphorescent is gearing up to release a new album called “Muchacho” and I was glad to know that I wouldn’t let this guy slip by the radar this time.
The first single off the album is named “Song for Zula” and as you might of guessed, it’s a love song. A heartbreaking masterpiece of a love song. Don’t be fooled by its gentle delivery, the song comes from someones heart that has been torn by love.
