Actual Wolf
Piggybacking on the “Bruce Springsteen reborn post”, I wanted to highlight Eric Pollard aka Actual Wolf. Actual Wolf’s facebook page described his as “just one man with a guitar, a lot on his mind & nothing to lose”. I hear a lot of classic influences in Actual Wolf’s music from Bruce Springsteen, Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan and John Denver to The Byrds, America and The Band but most importantly, the music sounds fresh even though it channels the past.
